Mucuna pruriens is a well-known aphrodisiac – the seeds are useful in increasing sperm count. It is a good nervine tonic – helpful in Parkinson’s disease. Mucuna pruriens, one of the popular Ayurvedic herbs, is also known as velvet bean, cowhage and Kapikachhu.

Fertility and Infertility Treatment Mucuna pruriens help in spermatogenesis. Certain research says it increase semen in the infertile men.
