[unpaid/sample] The new Delilah Lip Saviour Colour Enhancing Lip Oil is a super-subtle lip enhancer with plenty of sheen and nourishment. There’s a pH adaptive element to it in a very light-handed dose so what you get is just a fraction of tint under the shine. It’s enough, however, to just bring a ‘Sunday’ make up look – my lips but better kind of thing.
As you can see, it’s not your usual doe’s foot applicator. It’s made from ZAMAC – alloys with a base of zinc and aluminium, magnesium and copper elements. Metal tip applicators are more often found in ‘soothing’ eye cream tubes – ideal because it’s a very smooth way to apply. I wouldn’t say the Delilah Lip Saviour Colour Enhancing Lip Oil feels cool but it is certainly a better experience than your average doe’s foot – a bit like a Bentley engine purr compared to an old Renault 5 chug!
I’ve got the oil on my bottom lip only in this picture. The average lip pH is 6.7 so you probably won’t see wildly differing results, hence the word ‘enhancing’ rather than ‘tinting’. The oil is gorgeous – a blend of argan, castor seed, shea butter and jojoba oils and my lips love it. It’s £29 HERE.
